    Types of Windows

    Casement windows are the most contemporary and convenient of all window types and are generally the standard type of window thought of and are versatile, simple to use whilst offering unobstructed views.  

    They provide great ventilation and can be opened from a small amount to let a slight breeze in or fully opened for maximum ventilation.  

    These windows are also easy to clean as they are generally a single pain or double or triple glazed glass with no decorative beading etc 

    Decorative windows allow you to add a personal touch to your home and come in numerous different styles with either Frosted, Bevelled or Stained Glass

    Bay Windows are ideal for bringing in increased light into your home as they can cover almost an entire wall as well as giving better views of the outside and more ventilation during the summer months

    Sash windows are a typical feature of  traditional Georgian, Edwardian and Victorian properties. 

    Whilst having a distinctive design they are versatile and energy efficient, providing traditional charm providing increased ventilation as well as being suited to homes in conservation areas

    These versatile windows give you 2 options in 1. 

    Tilt and Turn windows open inwards (unlike traditional windows which open outwards) giving increased security, 

    The tilt allows you to open the window to let a small amount of fresh air in whilst also keeping rain water out. 

    The Turn option allows you to open the window fully for maximum fresh air.

    Cottage windows are the ideal way to preserve the elegance of a traditional home or bring a sense of charm to a new build.  

    Also known as Georgian or Tudor windows, cottage windows suit traditional homes but they are not restricted to older properties. 

    These windows have both horizontal and vertical strips across the glass which can make them more secure than other types of windows.
